In the before-times, Square Hole Comedy lived in the function room above the Red Deer, for which we shall ever have fondness. But with a global pandemic comes some readjustment and we have found a new home not too far away at Shakespeares on Gibraltar Street. We’re set to run on each first Sunday of most months so if you’re not already signed up, visit our website and join our mailing list to be among the first to hear the details and gain access to tickets. We also host additional tour shows and previews from time to time, so there may be extra dates besides our regular mixed-bill shows.

For almost a decade some of the most brilliant performers on the national and international comedy circuit graced our little stage, from award winning and critically acclaimed festival favourites to those you might have seen on the telly or hear hosting hugely popular podcasts. We also strive to provide emerging talent with a lovely setting in which to hone their craft, and a friendly and fun atmosphere for flipping marvellous audiences to enjoy them in.
